Welcome to the Sheffield Parent Carer Forum
We are an independent group of parents and carers of children and young people (0-19) with disabilities and special educational needs. Our main aim is to ensure the needs of our children are met. We bring together parent carers from across Sheffield to provide mutual support, exchange information, and influence policy.

Building bridges
The Forum has been working with nurseries and community groups to try and reach more parents from all of Sheffield’s communities.
Results of 2012 Members' Survey out now
This year, 38 parents took part in our survey. The results can now be downloaded from our website.
Forum Funding Boost
The Sheffield Parent Carer Forum has won several grants, including a £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
Concerns over CAMHS waiting times
Parents have raised concerns about long waits to access Sheffield’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
